Computer Sciences Corp. in El Segundo announced the formation of a Commercial Systems Group and the appointment of Thomas P. Gerrity as group president and as a corporate vice president. The group will provide systems integration services in the United States and Europe.
Gerrity previously was chairman of Index Group, a consulting firm in information systems strategies that he founded in 1969. Succeeding Gerrity as chairman and chief executive of Index Group is former Vice Chairman James A. Champy.
