The Milwaukee Bucks will be without Terry Cummings and Paul Pressey for the first two games of the National Basketball Assn.’s Eastern Conference semifinals against the Detroit Pistons, Coach Del Harris said.

Cummings, the team’s leading scorer, suffered a sprained right ankle during Game 4 of the first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Bucks and Pistons will begin their series in Detroit tonight.

Pressey missed the final eight regular-season games and all five playoff games with the Hawks because of a separated shoulder. The shoulder was X-rayed Tuesday and although Pressey has a full range of motion, his shoulder is still too weak to allow him to play.
