Culver City : Smith Named to Committee
Mayor Jozelle Smith has been appointed to the 17-member Los Angeles County Solid Waste Management Committee.
The committee, chaired by county Department of Public Works Director Tom Tidemanson, acts as an advisory body to the County Board of Supervisors, with its immediate assignment the revision of the county’s Solid Waste Management Plan.
Smith has recently been involved in promoting a recycling program in Culver City.
