A Korean-born businessman accused of trying to export nerve gas bombs to Iran was found guilty of conspiracy today, but was acquitted of trying to export the gas.

Juwhan Yun did not react when the verdict was announced. His wife prayed silently to herself, as she had throughout the trial. Yun faces up to five years in prison for the conviction. Sentencing was set for July 13.

Yun was arrested Jan. 12 at U.S. Customs offices near Newark Airport at a meeting with an undercover agent posing as an arms dealer. He had called off the deal for the nerve gas the night before his arrest.
