The Newport Harbor Art Museum has launched...
The Newport Harbor Art Museum has launched the public phase of the capital campaign for the museum’s new building with a newsletter mailed to 6,000 Orange County residents. The mailing, the first of four, describes the early phases of the campaign and lists top-of-the-line “giving opportunities”--requiring gifts of $249,000 to $1 million--that would allow donors to have portions of the building named in their honor.
The summer mailing will focus on the new building itself, giving the public the first glimpse of architect Renzo Piano’s designs for the 75,000-square-foot structure. The fall mailing will contain the first public acknowledgement of donors to the campaign.
