Codercard Inc., Santa Ana, lost $478,370 for its third quarter ended March 31, compared to a loss of $195,998 for the like period a year ago. The computer security company said the increased loss was attributable to product development costs and a reduction in the recorded value of its inventory. No sales for the quarter were reported, and the $121 revenue resulted from interest income. That compares to revenue of $21,858 for the comparable period last year. For the first 9 months of fiscal 1989, the company reported a loss of $913,580, more than double the $436,517 posted for the comparable period last year. Revenue totaled $2,899 compared to the $39,686 reported for the first 9 months of fiscal 1989.
