50 Firefighters Injured in Philadelphia Blaze

PHILADELPHIA —
Downtown traffic was tied up Wednesday as a fire at the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co., across the street from Independence Hall, raged for a second day. Authorities said that more than 50 firefighters had been injured working to control the blaze, which started Tuesday in a ninth-floor storage area.
