Drunk Driver Crashes Into Brazil Presidential Palace

BRASILIA, Brazil — A drunken bus driver drove into Brazil’s presidential palace and caused panic among security guards, a presidential spokesman said Wednesday.
Jose Antonio Gomes stole the bus Tuesday night and drove it straight into the palace entrance. He was quickly arrested, and there were no casualties. President Jose Sarney was not in the palace at the time.
