United Yellow Pages has issued this comparison of its 1979 and 1989 Westside listings. Although the numbers presumably represent only a portion of each type of business on the Westside, they give some indication of changes and trends. Areas covered are Beverly Hills, Culver City and most parts of Los Angeles west of La Cienega Boulevard. Santa Monica, Venice, Pacific Palisades and Marina del Rey are not included.
