Charles F. Merino has been appointed vice president of business development at Syntellisys Network Inc., an Irvine-based provider of voice, data and image communications services. He will develop sales and marketing programs, identify and negotiate expansion projects and oversee project planning for new locations. Before joining Syntellisys, Merino was general manager of Fairchild Communications’ West Coast operations. Before that, he was co-founder, president and general manager of Peachtree Telecommunications & Data Services Inc., Atlanta.
