State Sen. Wadie Deddeh (D-Chula Vista) was “getting along real well” and listed in fair condition Thursday at Sharp Memorial Hospital, two days after having open-heart surgery, said his administrative assistant Fran Shaw.
Deddeh was upgraded from serious condition after double bypass surgery Tuesday, and was moved out of the intensive care unit, Shaw said.
Deddeh, 68, represents the 40th Senatorial District, which covers parts of the city of San Diego, the border area and southern San Diego County.
