Anti-abortion demonstrators were arrested in four states. Ninety anti-abortion protesters were carried away by police in St. Petersburg, Fla. The protesters were met at the clinic by about 20 counter-demonstrators. Chicago police carried away dozens of anti-abortion protesters at a North Side clinic. They said 73 people will be charged. About 2,000 abortion rights advocates rallied in downtown Chicago, where about 250 anti-abortion demonstrators also showed up. In West Hartford, Conn., police arrested 261 protesters at the Summit Women’s Center as 100 pro-choice advocates demonstrated nearby. In Dallas, 44 people were arrested at Routh Street Women’s Clinic.
