THE COCAINE WAR

Share

Regarding the dominant theme of Overend’s article--that Latinos and blacks are the major players in the Southern California cocaine war. You are suggesting that the violent and clannish relationship developed by the Colombians and blacks in Southern California has driven out the white pusher. I am sure that the white middle and upper classes buy their cocaine from one of their own kind, that is from a white drug dealer. White drug pushers play a significant role in the purchase, sale and distribution of cocaine. Cocaine is a plague that cuts through all racial and socioeconomic lines.
