The Chicago Cubs activated first baseman Mark Grace from the 15-day disabled list today and sent outfielder Darrin Jackson outright to Iowa of the Class AAA American Assn.

The Cubs also placed reliever Pat Perry on the 15-day disabled list with tendinitis of the shoulder and recalled pitcher Les Lancaster from Iowa. Perry was 0-1 with a 1.77 earned run average.

Grace was placed on the DL on June 12 after suffering an injury to his right shoulder on June 5 in St. Louis during a fight with Frank DiPino. Grace is batting .316 with two homers and 26 RBIs.
