Povich to Host ‘Current Affair’ 2 More Years

Maury Povich will continue to host Fox’s tabloid smash “A Current Affair” for at least another two years at a reported salary of $1.8 million a year. Under the terms of his new contract, Povich will also be allowed to host a talk show for Fox or another production company.

“A Current Affair” is one of the top five money-making syndicated programs and will gross an estimated $40 million this season. The show is No. 1 in its 7:30 p.m. time slot locally.
