A mother and son who are charged with abusing youngsters at their Mira Mesa day care center will go on trial Sept. 18.
The trial date was set Tuesday after Henri Dyson, 41, and Harold Dyson, 24, pleaded innocent in Superior Court to the 11 charges.
Henri Dyson is charged with child endangerment, child abuse and two counts of molesting two children at her home. Her son is charged with four counts of child endangerment.
Testimony at the preliminary hearing two weeks ago indicated that some children received bizarre treatment, including a cold-water enema administered to a 17-month-old baby. Some children were forced to sleep naked in a garage or bathtub, according to the evidence.
Harold Dyson is free on $25,000 bail, but a bail review is scheduled for July 6. His mother is free on $125,000 bail.
