Fed Chief Greenspan Suffers Heat Exhaustion

WASHINGTON — Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan, 63, was released from a hospital Tuesday morning after being treated overnight for heat exhaustion, a Fed spokesman reported.
Spokesman Joseph R. Coyne denied what he said were stock market rumors that Greenspan had suffered a heart ailment.
