Franklin Telecom Agrees to Sell 2 Divisions

Share

Franklin Telecommunications Corp. announced that it entered an agreement in principle to sell the assets of two divisions to a former employee and a group of investors for $550,000.

Pending shareholder approval, Franklin will sell its PC Enhancement and Shamrock Distribution divisions for $550,000 payable over seven years. The divisions make and market personal computer-related products.

Franklin, based in Westlake Village, said it arranged the sale in order to concentrate on its production of wide-area data communication networks, which allow computers to talk to each other over long distances.
