Mail Delivery Halted; It’s a Crime, Says Post Office

LYNN, Mass. —
Rain, sleet, snow and unfriendly dogs couldn’t stop the mail--but crime did.
U.S. Postal Service officials last week notified residents of Vine Street in Lynn that home mail delivery has been suspended to 12 multiple-family homes on the street because of personal danger to the carriers from crime. Residents now must pick up their mail at the West Lynn Post Office.
