A radical Palestinian guerrilla leader said that the adoption of hard-line peace conditions by Israel’s Likud Party proves that the policies of Palestine Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat are useless. Ahmed Jibril, leader of the anti-Arafat Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, said in a statement issued in Damascus, Syria: “We consider the Likud conditions as a slap in the face to Arafat and his capitulatory moves.”
