Mexico Resumes Talks With Bankers: Negotiators for Mexico and its 15 leading commercial bank lenders resumed talks in a bid to reach an agreement on a new financing package, bankers said. On Saturday, the negotiators said they were close to an agreement in principle that would provide Mexico with more than $3 billion annually of financial benefits. “The only thing that is firm is that the discount is going to be about 35%,” one banker said.
