Grammy-winning singer-composer Smokey Robinson will be delivering an anti-drug message when he makes his dramatic acting debut on the NBC daytime serial “Generations.” In two episodes set to air Aug. 7-8, Robinson is cast as a Chicago commodities trader who relates how cocaine led to his downfall. Sally Sussman, the show’s creator and executive producer, notes that Robinson “is an avid supporter of the war against drugs.”
