Director, Producer Sue Orion: Movie director Brian De Palma and producer George Litto have filed a $12-million lawsuit against Orion Pictures, charging that the company breached its contract by not paying them their share of profits from the 1980 thriller “Dressed to Kill.” The complaint--filed in Los Angeles Superior Court--alleges that the company “failed to accurately report, calculate and distribute” the pair’s combined 50% of the film’s net profits. An Orion spokesman said: “The company’s policy is not to comment on pending litigation.”
