Beverly Hills : Traffic Study Approved
The City Council has given the green light to participation in a three-city study aimed at unsnarling traffic problems in a congested Beverly Hills-West Hollywood-Los Angeles rectangle bordered by Highland Avenue on the east, Sunset Boulevard on the north, Pico Boulevard on the south and the western boundary of Beverly Hills on the west.
Estimated cost for the study is $400,000. Los Angeles is to assume half the cost, with Beverly Hills paying $120,000 and West Hollywood contributing $80,000, based on each city’s share of traffic signals and street mileage.
