The longest-running program in the history of American radio will reach another milestone Sunday when the 325-voice Mormon Tabernacle Choir presents its 60th-year anniversary broadcast of “Music and the Spoken Word” from Temple Square in Salt Lake City. The program will be the choir’s 3,226th live Sunday performance. President Bush and former President Reagan, whose inaugurations featured the choir, will deliver videotaped tributes. The choir also is seen on syndicated telecasts.
