Salvador Rebels Blamed in Car Bomb Explosion

SAN SALVADOR — A powerful car bomb exploded outside El Salvador’s tallest building--the 18-story Democracy Tower--on Thursday, shattering windows but causing no serious injuries, officials said.
Although no group claimed responsibility, the government blamed it on leftist rebels.
