Alaska Air Group Inc.: The Seattle-based airline said net income rose 13% to $10.5 million in the second quarter. The company noted a 6% increase in passenger business. Higher interest income and lower interest expense also boosted current quarter results, the company said. Revenue for the second quarter rose 12% to $226.6 million.
