Mickey Rich; Saxophonist, TV and Ad Producer

Mickey Rich, 66, initially a saxophonist in the band led by his brother, Buddy, the late drummer, and later a producer of television commercials and documentaries. One of his theatrical shorts, “Windows,” won a Chicago Film Festival award. He also was a television director whose credits included “Car 54, Where Are You?” His survivors include his wife, Elaine Rich, producer of “Dynasty.” In Beverly Hills on Tuesday of cancer.
