Cleveland Brown fullback Kevin Mack pleaded not guilty to drug-trafficking charges in Cuyahoga (Ohio) County Common Pleas Court and was allowed to remain free on $2,500 bond.
Mack, 26, who was arrested June 28, stood with his hands folded in front of him before Judge William E. Aurelius.
On the advice of defense attorney Gerald Gold, Mack did not comment after the hearing. But Gold said Mack was doing well at a drug rehabilitation program in Cleveland.
