Boycotting TV Shows

I have just rented the videotape of “The Last Temptation of Christ” and I am very upset. I am upset that I, like many others, I am sure, was influenced by a small group of people into not seeing the film when it was playing in theaters.

The depiction of Christ as one tormented by the battle of his human emotions and his divine obligations was moving and genuine. Yes, I am upset at having to rent a tape to see this movie, but in this age of stifled art murals and canceled photographic exhibitions, I suppose I should be glad that we can see this film at all.
