Commercial Scene : El Monte Business Park Bought by Labor Group

The Construction Laborer’s Pension Trust for Southern California has purchased the two-building Airport Business Park, on Santa Anita Avenue in El Monte, for $7 million, according to Grubb & Ellis.
The labor group plans to use the entire business park, completed a year ago by the Rodine Cos. of Monrovia, for its headquarters, now on Wilshire Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles. The move is scheduled for the third quarter of this year.
