Irvine : UCI Lincoln Conference Planned by GOP League

The California Republican League, a statewide volunteer organization of Republicans who are fiscal conservatives and moderates on social issues, will hold their Sixth Biennial Lincoln Conference Aug. 11 to 13 at UC Irvine.
Scheduled speakers include state Republican Party Chairman Frank Visco; Orange County Republican Party Chairman Thomas A. Fuentes; B.T. Collins, chief deputy to the state treasurer; Sacramento Bee political columnist Dan Walters; and San Diego Union political humorist and cartoonist Steve Kelly.
