Death Toll in Libyan Air Crash Rises to 73

SEOUL — The death toll among passengers and crew from the Korean Air DC-10 that crashed in Libya last Thursday rose to 73 overnight when a young girl died of her injuries in a Libyan hospital, airline officials said Tuesday.
They said Bae Yoon A, 7, was flying to visit her father, a Samsung Construction Co. official based in Tripoli, when the plane crashed on landing. Airline officials said Bae died while receiving treatment for severe burns. Bae’s mother, who was traveling with her, remains in the hospital with serious burns.
