Benin President’s Guard Kills U.N. Doctor

COTONOU, Benin —
A bodyguard shot and killed a World Health Organization doctor in Benin when he failed to stop his car quickly enough ahead of a presidential motorcade, witnesses said Tuesday.
The guard fired several shots point blank at Justin Desire Araba late Monday in downtown Cotonou, they said. Araba was a Beninese specialist working on river blindness in Burkina Faso for WHO, a U.N. agency.
