REAL ESTATE : Wichita Hotel Chain Chooses Cypress for Suite Deal With Foster City Firm
Woodfin Suites Inc. will build an all-suite hotel in Cypress as the first project in a joint venture with Foster City developer Lincoln Property Co. Inc. to build hotels in Southern California.
Woodfin is a seven-hotel chain that is planning to build 12 more. By 1993, the company says, it hopes to have 100 hotels either open or on the drawing boards. The company is based in Wichita now but plans to move to San Diego in the fall.
The Cypress project will be in the Cypress Pointe Business Park and have 124 suites. Plans call for building to start this month and be finished in June.
