Westminster : School District Seeks Applicants for Panel

The Westminster School District is seeking applicants for a position on the three-member Personnel Commission, which is responsible for the selection, retention and promotion of non-teaching employees.

Applicants must be registered to vote, live within school district boundaries and be familiar with the merit system. Members of governing boards in other school districts or employees of the Westminster School District are not eligible.

Desirable qualifications include experience with community groups or public agencies, knowledge of labor relations and related law and having time available to attend the commission meetings once a month.

Applications are available at the district Classified Personnel Office, 14121 Cedarwood Ave. The deadline for submitting the application is Sept. 1.
