Emmy Award winner Ed Asner and “St. Elsewhere’s” Ed Begley Jr. have been cast in “Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less,” a two-part drama for cable’s USA Network. The story is based on best-selling author Jeffrey Archer’s first novel, which tells of his resignation from the House of Commons after an investment with a fraudulent company.

Raymond Burr’s nationally syndicated courtroom drama “Trial by Jury” has found a district attorney and a judge. The roles will be portrayed by veterans Joseph Campanella and Madlyn Rhue. Playing attorneys for the September debut are Grant Goodeve and Charles Siebert, former co-stars of “Eight Is Enough” and “Trapper John, M.D.,” respectively.
