Several major English soccer clubs will be given $6.5 million to install more seats at their grounds in the wake of the Hillsborough tragedy in which 95 fans were crushed to death.

A trust funded by football pools companies said the money will be given to all first division clubs and others with an average attendance of more than 10,000.
