Actor Michael Douglas and businessman Neil C. Morgan plan to buy a large, wooded ranch in Colorado from a group headed by U.S. Commerce Secretary Robert Mosbacher. Morgan said the 7,000-acre Wildcat Ranch is seven miles from the Aspen ski area and will be developed into sites for multimillion-dollar homes. The sale is expected to close later this month, said Morgan, who declined to disclose the exact sale price, which was estimated at $20 million. The sellers include Mosbacher, Houston businesswoman Josephine Abercrombie and James A. Elkins Jr., former chairman of First City Bancorp. of Texas.
