I want to thank NBC for introducing a brilliant but simple concept that teaches teen-agers the effects of alcohol. The fathers on “My Two Dads” chose to show their daughter Nicole the consequences of drinking by slowly consuming alcohol themselves while insisting that she watch. She saw their mental stages go from funny to sluggish to incoherent and then to violent. I cannot help but wonder how many teen-agers would think twice about drinking at all if their parents were to do the same.
