Report of New F-100 Jet Plant: The Dutch aerospace firm Fokker has decided to spend $318 million to expand a Dutch assembly line for its successful F-100 passenger jet, but is still negotiating over a new plant in the United States, a Dutch newspaper reported. Fokker denied that a decision had been made on the expansion and said the issue was still wide open. Other contenders for the new assembly line are Lockheed Aircraft Corp., Grumman Corp. and Rockwell.
