Redskins’ Williams in Good Condition After Back Surgery
Washington Redskin quarterback Doug Williams was listed in good condition Friday after undergoing surgery to repair a herniated disk in his back, the team said.
There were no complications associated with the surgery at Sibley Hospital in the District of Columbia. Williams was expected to be sidelined for eight to 10 weeks, the club said.
Williams injured his back exercising on a treadmill two months ago and has been sidelined for the entire Redskins’ training camp this summer.
