“Inside Edition,” King World’s syndicated news magazine that is headquartered in New York, has opened a Los Angeles bureau, with Emmy Award-winning producer-writer Bill Walker assigned as bureau chief. Coming aboard as correspondents are Cynthia Allison, formerly with KNBC and KABC-TV news; producer David Niven Jr., Scott Osborne, who has been with “Entertainment Tonight,” and Steve McPartlin, who is relocating here from New York. King World also has named Cherie Simon, who has been with ABC News for seven years, as its Washington bureau chief.
