4 Die in Copter Crash; Foul Play Is Suspected
Four bodies were found Monday in the wreckage of a medical helicopter that slammed into a mountain with a wounded Canadian criminal aboard, and the FBI was asked to investigate if he caused the crash.
All aboard died when the copter went down Sunday night in the mountains along the Idaho-Washington border, and an FBI agent said the crash was being investigated as a crime aboard an aircraft. A man listening to a police scanner Sunday said he heard a radio transmission in which the pilot said the crew was scuffling with a patient.
