The body of a 37-year-old motorist was discovered by a passer-by Sunday morning, more than a day after the driver died in a crash on San Pasqual Valley Road, according to a deputy coroner.
Miles Joseph Daly of Escondido died just before midnight Friday when his car spun out of control. It overturned while going down an embankment and Daly was pinned beneath it, Deputy Coroner George Dickason said.
The wreckage was discovered at 9:15 a.m. Sunday in a ditch along San Pasqual Valley Road just east of Old San Pasqual Road in an unincorporated area of the county.
