U.S. Users and Colombian ‘War’
We sometimes ignore the facts that make us uncomfortable. We condemn the actions of the “narco-terrorists” in Colombia, but we forget that it is our country’s addiction to cocaine that tragically is supporting the madness occurring in Colombia today. The unmitigated gall of the Colombian kingpins indeed needs to be condemned by all of us, but we need to realize that we can do much more.
Goethe was right when he said, “let everyone sweep in front of his own door, and the whole world will be clean.”
