Huntway Partners’ Arizona Refinery Begins Operations

Huntway Partners, a Valencia-based refiner and marketer of liquid asphalt, said its new Arizona refinery has begun operations.

The refinery can process up to 8,500 barrels of crude oil daily and is a key element in Huntway’s growth plans. The refinery, which is between Phoenix and Tucson, enables Huntway to sell liquid asphalt to the Arizona market without having to transport it from California.

Huntway built the refinery next to the All-American Pipeline, which began moving crude oil between California and Texas in 1987.
