Jim Swartwout has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Morehouse Industries. He succeeds Dale Morehouse, who remains chairman of the board and chief executive. Swartwout joined the company in 1988 as executive vice president. Previously, he was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Delphian Corp. Morehouse Industries, based in Fullerton, manufactures high-speed dispersion, particle reduction and solvent recovery systems.
