Authorities in the Denver suburb of Aurora issued a summons to Denver Bronco offensive tackle Gerald Perry, charging him with solicitation for prostitution, impersonating a police officer and two other counts in connection with an incident in the early morning hours of Sept. 7.

Police Sgt. Mike Shultz said Perry allegedly had an altercation with an unidentified couple he picked up. Shultz said a quantity of suspected narcotics were purchased by the male, and Perry allegedly identified himself as a police officer and told both individuals they were under arrest.

The man and woman claim Perry then struck the man’s head against the dashboard of his vehicle. Perry and the female then allegedly engaged in conversation regarding the exchange of money for sexual acts and were later found by police partially clothed in Perry’s parked car on an east Denver street.
