The State : Cajon Plane Crash Kills 2
A man and woman were killed when their twin-engine Cessna aircraft crashed in steep terrain in the Cajon Pass, San Bernardino County authorities said. The unidentified couple were killed instantly when their Cessna 310-I burst into flames when it crashed in the mountains about five miles south of Hesperia near Interstate 15, Sheriff’s Deputy James Carney said. A passing motorist saw the flames and notified deputies. It was not immediately known from where the plane had taken off or where it was headed, FAA spokesman Jerry Acosta said.
